Friends of Yards Creek Scout Reservation is a group of concerned Scouts, Scouters and volunteers who would like to improve the quality of the scout camps in their council.  By working side by side with our council, Friends of Yards Creek Scout Reservation will raise funds and material donations to help improve the quality of Yards Creek Scout Reservation so that a quality program will be available for scouting in the future. Although funds may not be available through council for this purpose, we the organization of Friends of Yards Creek Scout Reservation, will provide services through our volunteer membership, to help improve the structures and camping facilities to insure a quality Scout Camp is available to the Scouts for future generations.  We aim to preserve the values instilled by Scouting:  Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
